Elko Trail Systems began in 2021 with an initiative of four well-respected community organizations: Elko Velo, Elko County, Northeastern Nevada Stewardship Group and Nevada Outdoor School. ETSI formed in response to the BLM's request for a strong community partner to advance Lamoille Summit Trail System.

Our Talent
The Initiative draws upon it's member organizations for expertise in trail concept, stewardship, fund raising, grant and project management. A dedicated volunteer director orchestrates communications, identifies opportunity and ensures follow-through on key tasks to ensure progress toward trail system development.
